Recipe: Have you ever tasted carrot kheer? Make it by following this recipe

The mere mention of “kheer” makes the mouth water. Although rice kheer is common, there are other ingredients that you can use to make kheer. Today, we have brought you the recipe for carrot kheer which tastes amazing. So let's know about its recipe.

Material:

Carrots – 250 grams

Milk – 1 liter

Almonds – 8-10

Cardamom – 2 pinches

Sugar – 1 cup

Recipe:

Start the process by thoroughly cleaning and washing the carrots. Once done, pat them dry with a clean cloth.

Grate the carrots and keep them in a separate container. Proceed to chop the almonds into small, bite-sized pieces.

Take a deep-bottomed vessel, add milk to it and heat it on medium flame.

After boiling the milk for 2-3 minutes, add grated carrots to the milk and mix well.

Let the kheer boil for 4-5 minutes. As soon as it starts thickening, add two pinches of cardamom powder and the desired amount of sugar. Mix well.

Cover the vessel and let the kheer cook on low flame for about 10 minutes.

Continue cooking until the carrots are soft and completely cooked.

Carrot Kheer is now ready to serve. Put it in a serving bowl and garnish with almond pieces on top.
