Recipe: If you want to eat something tasty then make 'Egg Dal Tadka', the recipe is very easy!

 

Everyone has eaten lentils and everyone must have tasted the taste of egg tadka. We are talking about 'Egg-Dal Tadka' which is a special dish of Arunachal Pradesh. Today we have brought this recipe for you. 

Ingredients:

1 cup yellow toor dal

3 cups water

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp salt

2 tbsp oil

1 onion, chopped

1 tomato, chopped

1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp mustard seeds Grains

2-3 dry red chilies

2 eggs

Chopped coriander leaves for garnish

Method:

Wash the lentils and soak them in water for 30 minutes.

Strain the dal and put it in a pressure cooker along with 3 cups of water, turmeric powder, and salt. Cook for 4-5 whistles or till the dal becomes soft and mushy.

Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Fry them till they turn golden brown.

Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 2-3 minutes.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook till they are soft and mushy.

Add cooked dal and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Heat oil in a separate pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and dry red chilies. Fry till they start to crackle.

Beat eggs and pour into pan. Scramble the eggs until they are cooked.

Pour the fried eggs over the dal and mix well.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Serve hot with rice or roti.
