Recipe of the Day: Make Paal Payasam on the weekend, it will taste very good, this is the method 

 

Required Ingredients:

  • 2 liter full fat milk
  • 2 tsp ghee
  • 100 gm cashew nuts 100
  • gm almonds 200
  • gm soaked rice
  • 250 gm jaggery
  • 100 gm raisins
  • 2 tsp green cardamom
  • 2 pinch saffron

You can prepare it in this way:

- First of all soak the rice in water for half an hour.

Now heat ghee in the pan and cook the rice lightly.

- After some time, boil milk in it.

- When the mixture looks like kheer, add jaggery.

- After the jaggery dissolves, add green cardamom and saffron to it and cook.

- Now roast dry fruits in ghee.

- Mix dry fruits in the mixture and let it cook for two minutes.

- In this way your South Indian dish Paal Payasam is prepared.

- Garnish it with dry fruits and enjoy it.
