Recipe Tips: In this month of Sawan, you can also make and eat Mango Shrikhand

 

Ingredients

  • Mango - 4
  • Curd - 4 cups
  • Saffron - 10 to 12 threads
  • Sugar - 5 spoon
  • Pistachios - 3 spoon
  • Almond - 3 spoon

Method

You have to first spread a cotton cloth on a vessel. Add curd to it and fold the cloth to make a bundle and tie a knot. Hang it at a little height. So that the water gets filtered from the curd.

After the fixed time, you have to open the bundle and take out the disc made of curd in a vessel. Mango pulp, cardamom powder, saffron and sugar powder have to be mixed in this wheel. Now you have to whisk all the ingredients well. Take out the prepared mango shrikhand in a serving bowl and sprinkle pistachios, almonds on it and keep it in the fridge for 2 hours. Eat Shrinkhad with pleasure.
