Refined Oil: Do you also cook puri and pulao in refined oil? So know its disadvantages

Refined Oil Disadvantages: Refined oil is an important part of our kitchen, it is used to fry puris, pulao, and chips etc. This oil does not have any kind of smell or taste, so many people like it, but using it excessively can be dangerous for our health. Ayushi Yadav, former dietician at GIMS Hospital in Greater Noida, told what can be the disadvantages of eating refined oil.

The biggest problem is that refined oil contains a lot of fats, most of which include trans fats and saturated fats. Excess intake of these fats is not good for our body at all. People who use this oil excessively may be at risk of heart diseases, diabetes, and obesity. This oil is processed at high temperatures, which can also increase uric acid which later causes joint pain.

Dietician Ayushi believes that instead of refined oil, we should use healthy natural oils in our daily diet, which include coconut oil, olive oil and sesame oil. By using them, trans fat does not increase in the body and we will avoid many dangerous and deadly diseases.

Despite the disadvantages of refined oil, it does not mean that you should completely abandon it. If you consume it in a limit or fry things, then it is not as dangerous for health, but if you have healthy options then definitely give them preference.
