Sunday Special Recipe : Make curd kebabs, everyone will appreciate after eating

 

Curd kebabs are a popular Indian appetizer that is healthy and delicious. Made with yogurt, spices, and vegetables, these kebabs are a great option for those looking for a vegetarian or healthy alternative to traditional meat kebabs. Here's how you can make curd kebabs:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups hung curd (thick yogurt)
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped capsicum
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the hung curd, onions, capsicum, carrots, coriander leaves, breadcrumbs, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well to form a thick mixture.

  2. Take a small amount of the mixture and shape it into a small round patty.

  3. Repeat the process with the remaining mixture.

  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

  5. Once the oil is hot, gently place the kebabs in the oil and fry until golden brown on all sides.

  6. Once done, remove the kebabs from the oil and place them on a paper towel to remove excess oil.

  7. Serve the curd kebabs hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
