The registration process for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains, conducted for admission to top engineering colleges in the country, is about to close. Next year's exam will be conducted in two sessions. Candidates who have not yet applied for the first session can apply by visiting the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.
The registration process for the first session of JEE Main 2024 started on November 1, 2023. Candidates have time till November 30, 2023, to complete the registration. The examination for the first session is scheduled to be held from January 24, 2024, to February 1, 2024. To register for the exam, follow the steps given below:

Click on the “Latest News” link on the home page.
Go to the link “JEE Main 2023 Exam Registration Online”.
Click on “Apply Online” on the next page.
Complete the registration with the required details.
After registration, candidates can fill out the application form.

There have been recent changes in the JEE Main syllabus. Many topics have been completely removed from the latest syllabus. Removal of various units has also been observed in some subjects. Students preparing for upcoming exams should check these changes in the syllabus to ensure good preparation.
For JEE Advanced 2024, there are two papers consisting of questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Both papers are compulsory and are conducted for a duration of three hours each. These papers assess the comprehension, reasoning and analytical abilities of the candidates. There has been no change in the syllabus of these papers.
