What is the height required for women to become Agniveer, and how much running will they have to do? Women Agniveers are recruited under the Agneepath scheme!

Agniveer Recruitment 

Recruitment is being done under the Agneepath scheme in all three wings of the Indian Army. 

Recruitment of women:

The Indian Army has fixed the physical eligibility for female Agniveer recruitment.  

What is the required age?

To become a female Agniveer, the age should be a minimum of 17.5 years and a maximum of 21 years.  

What is the required height?

The height of the female Agniveer should be 162 cm. Indian Gorkha candidates get a relaxation of 4 cm.  

 How much will I have to run?

To become a female Agniveer, one will have to run 1.6 km in 7 minutes 30 seconds. 

Long jump

In the physical test, women will have to jump 10 feet long and 3 feet high jump.
