Children are the first to see the effect of climate change. Especially their skin gets affected quickly. During summer, boils and prickly heat appear on the skin of children. Most of the children have to face boils in the head in hot weather. These skin-related problems are more troubling in rural areas. Bacteria is the main reason behind the rash on the head of children.

This bacteria is called Staphylococcus aureus and it can also cause major damage. Bihar's paediatrician Dr Arun Shah has explained the reasons for this problem faced by children and effective ways to prevent it. Learn…

Causes of boils and rashes in children
Dr Shah says that due to heat and sweating, there is a danger of clogging of the pores. In this situation, rashes start forming on the skin. If the child's immunity is weak, then boils or pimples occur in summer. Apart from this, these problems can also occur if you do not take care of cleanliness. Experts say that due to any problem in the blood, lack of nutrition and allergies, rashes or rashes occur on the skin.

In most cases, there are rashes on the back and boils on the head. Once the child is affected by this, he may also become irritable due to the pain. Dr Shah says that apart from protecting the child from the heat, keep it away from dust and dirt.

Ways to avoid boils and prickly heat
Dr Shah says that children and elders should also wear open and light-coloured clothes in summer. Always choose cotton fabric only. If the child has prickly heat or rashes, then bathe him with neem water.

Lack of cleanliness is believed to be the main reason behind the infection. Take special care of the child's hygiene to avoid overheating or skin problems.

Eating mangoes is also considered to be one of the reasons for the release of grains. Avoid eating mangoes or things made from it in excess and feeding them to children, because even this can cause heat in the stomach and rashes.

If you want, you can also apply ice or cold water, but for this first take the advice of an expert or a doctor.

If there is a problem of boils on the child's head, then virgin coconut or ordinary coconut oil can also be used to get rid of it.
