Arjun Tendulkar got beaten up by his friends, he was given away a lot of runs in 4 overs before the IPL mega auction.

Only a few hours are left for the mega auction of IPL 2025 to begin. For the first time, the auction of players for the world's biggest T20 league is being organized in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A day before the auction, the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy has started in India, which can be like an audition for the auction for many players. However, Arjun, the son of India's greatest batsman Sachin Tendulkar, is failing in this audition. Arjun was beaten badly in his very first match and this was done by his old friends.

While all the franchises are busy preparing for the mega auction to be held on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah, many players in different parts of the world are trying to attract their attention with their performance. With the Mushtaq Ali Trophy starting just before this, this can also prove to be important for many players. While players like Shreyas Iyer, and Yuzvendra Chahal performed brilliantly in the first match, this match proved to be very bad for Arjun.

Arjun, a left-arm fast bowler who plays for Goa, had to face a severe beating against his old team Mumbai. Mumbai batted first in this match and scored a huge score of 250 runs in 20 overs by losing only 4 wickets. Now that such a big score has been made, it is clear that the bowlers must have been beaten badly and that is what happened, in which Arjun Tendulkar came under target. Mumbai batsmen scored a total of 48 runs in Arjun's 4 overs by hitting 6 fours and 2 sixes, while he did not get any wickets.

Arjun's friend Prithvi Shaw scored only 9 runs in his 8 balls but the rest of his old teammates did not show any mercy. Shreyas scored 11 runs in Arjun's 6 balls while Angkrish Raghuvanshi scored 6 runs in 3 balls. Bowling-allrounder Shams Mulani was the most ruthless and scored 18 runs in Arjun's 7 balls. Only Heramb Parab was beaten more than Arjun who conceded 59 runs in 4 overs. Now the question is, will this have any effect on the auction? It does not seem to be happening and there is every possibility that once again Mumbai Indians can buy the star batsman's son at the base price, as it had done earlier.
