Bangladesh Superfan Attacked: Chaos during Kanpur Test, Bangladesh fan beaten up in stadium, had to be taken to hospital

 

A shocking incident has come to light from the second test match between India and Bangladesh. A Bangladeshi fan was beaten up at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, after which he had to be taken to the hospital. This man, famous by the name 'Robbie Tiger', is a superfan of the Bangladesh cricket team. He reaches every ground to support his team. According to the report, in Kanpur too, he was raising slogans while waving the flag of the Bangladeshi team in support of his team. Then he clashed with some local fans. During this, he was attacked, after which he fell unconscious. The security personnel immediately took cognizance of the matter and took him to the hospital.

The incident of a clash between Bangladeshi fans and Indian fans happened during the lunch break. This Bangladeshi fan was sitting on the balcony of Green Park Stadium and was also raising slogans in support of his team. Then he started arguing with some local fans sitting on the lower seats. After this, they beat him up. While being taken to the hospital, the Bangladeshi fan told the media that he was attacked on his waist and stomach.

The police present at the spot have denied beating the Bangladeshi fan. An officer revealed that when he arrived, he was having trouble breathing and was unable to speak properly. They believe that he suffered from dehydration due to the extreme heat. However, they have said that they will give clear information about the case only after the medical report comes.

The Green Park Stadium authority has said that CCTV footage will be examined to confirm the allegation of the attack made by the Bangladeshi fan. Also, the matter will be investigated thoroughly.
