BCCI will hold an AGM meeting on September 25 to emphasize on World Cup preparations!
The Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) is going to organize the Annual General Meeting in Goa on 25 September ahead of the One Day International World Cup. , The last AGM of BCCI was held on 22 October 2022. The Special General Meeting (SGM) was held on May 27 this year. The first point on the agenda of the AGM is to finalize the decisions taken at the meeting.
A total of 18 points are on the agenda for the upcoming meeting, including the appointment of an ombudsman and ethics officer, as well as finalizing preparations for the World Cup, which begins on October 5. Apart from this, the agenda also includes the appointment of BCCI representatives in the International Cricket Council (ICC), appointments of cricket committees, standing committees, and umpire committees.
The BCCI AGM will elect and induct two delegates to the General Body. Also, a representative of the Indian Cricketers' Association (ICA) will be included in the Governing Council of the IPL. Also on the agenda are the acceptance of the Treasurer's Report and Audited Accounts for 2022-23 and the Annual Budget for 2023-24.
