'Hey, one will come here brother…' Rishabh Pant helped Bangladesh, reminded me of MS Dhoni.

Fans are very excited to see Rishabh Pant on the cricket field. The reason for this is not only his explosive batting, but he has also won over the fans with his good wicketkeeping. Apart from all this, there is another thing that makes him special - that is entertainment with his funny talks on the pitch. Whether wicketkeeping or batting, some or the other interesting talk of Pant gets recorded on the stump mic. If this was not enough, now Pant has also started setting the fielding for Bangladesh in the Chennai Test, that too when he himself was batting.

This scene was seen in the first session of the third day of the Chepauk Test match. Rishabh Pant and Shubman Gill came to the crease to take Team India's second innings forward. Both batted brilliantly and did not lose any wickets while troubling the Bangladeshi bowlers and fielders throughout the session. Both the Indian batsmen were scoring freely and Bangladesh was looking for wickets. In such a situation, suddenly Pant himself came forward to help Bangladeshi captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto and the bowler.

Pant started fielding

Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed's over was starting and Pant was on strike. In such a situation, Shanto was setting the field for him. Then suddenly Pant started explaining to him where he should place the fielder. This audio of Pant was also recorded on the stump mic, in which while explaining to the Bangladeshi players, he said - "Hey, one will come here... brother, one here... one fielder here, at midwicket."

Pant also explained by gesturing and in the next second, a fielder stationed at extra covers ran to the midwicket position. Seeing Pant doing this, the commentators could not believe it and they also started laughing. At the same time, this video of Pant became very viral on social media. Along with this, it also reminded me of former Indian wicketkeeper and legendary captain MS Dhoni, who helped set the fielding by batting in the same way during the match against Bangladesh during the 2019 World Cup.

Although Pant definitely helped, the Bangladeshi team could not take advantage of it as they rained boundaries in every part of the field. Pant completed his 12th Test half-century in 88 balls after a slow start to the day. In this way, 637 days after 23 December 2022, Pant scored a fifty in Test cricket. After scoring a half-century, Pant again showed an aggressive attitude and hit fours and sixes with shots like sweep-reverse swing, scoop, and pull. During this, one of his catches also jumped just before lunch but Bangladeshi captain Shanto dropped this easy opportunity. Pant was then on 72 runs. Along with Pant, Gill also scored a brilliant half-century and took India's lead beyond 400 runs with a century partnership.
