ICC ODI World Cup: Virat Kohli can achieve these two big achievements today

Former Indian captain Virat Kohli will have a chance to make two big achievements in his name today in the ICC ODI World Cup match against Sri Lanka in Mumbai.

If he is successful in scoring a century in today's match, then he will get both these achievements registered in his name. Virat Kohli, who has scored one century and three big half-centuries in the current World Cup, has 48 centuries in his name in ODI cricket. If he scores a century today, he will equal Sachin Tendulkar's record of 49 centuries in the ODI format.

If he scores 34 runs in the match, he will complete 1000 ODI international runs this year i.e. in 2023. Kohli has scored 966 runs in 19 innings in 22 matches this year at an average of 64.40. He has also scored four centuries during this period.
