IND Vs BAN: Rohit Sharma called head coach Gautam Gambhir a grumpy person, and said- Rahul Dravid was different

After achieving a spectacular victory in the Chennai Test, Team India is now facing Bangladesh in Kanpur. On the first day of the match, Team India won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first. It has happened after 9 years Team India has won the toss and chosen to field first in a Test match. Well, during this match, an interview with Rohit Sharma came out in which he called Gautam Gambhir a grumpy person. He described Rahul Dravid as a very different head coach from him.

In an interview, Rohit Sharma was asked about the difference between Gautam Gambhir and Rahul Dravid. To this Rohit said that Dravid was of a different kind but Gautam Gambhir is grumpy. When he was a player, he liked to score runs. In Mumbai, grumpy is the name given to a player who stays at the wicket. Rohit further said, 'I have worked with many coaches and everyone's mentality is different. I am always prepared.'

During this interview, Rohit Sharma said that as a captain, he finds the most difficult task to select the team. Rohit said that not every player can be kept in the playing eleven but it is a bit difficult to keep out a good-performing player. However, everything is done for the betterment of the team.

Rohit further said, 'Youngsters have to understand that you are playing for the team and what is its value. Youngsters have to learn performance, mindset, and the art of winning matches. Every player has a different role and then after recognizing it, efforts are made to give them continuous opportunities.' Rohit is sometimes seen abusing junior players, on this the captain said that he is not ashamed of it because what is on the ground remains there. Everything is fine outside the ground.
