Hardik Pandya had a great career in cricket this year. India's star all-rounder not only led his team Gujarat Titans to the IPL final in 2023 but also played a key role in India's victory in the Asia Cup 2023. He was a player to watch in the World Cup 2023, but he was ruled out midway through the tournament due to an ankle injury.

However, Hardik Pandya is now all set to make a great comeback in IPL 2024 with Mumbai Indians. Hardik Pandya, who was set to be retained by Gujarat Titans, whom he captained and won glory in IPL 2022, was recently traded to his home team Mumbai Indians led by Rohit Sharma.

Hardik Pandya started his IPL journey with Mumbai Indians and remained a part of the team till 2022, winning four out of five IPL titles. Now when he will play for Mumbai Indians again, let us tell you how much Hardik Pandya can earn from the tournament.

There are two types of trades in IPL. A one-way trade is where an IPL franchise can buy one or more players from another team. The second is a two-way trade in which teams exchange players.

Hardik Pandya's move back to Mumbai Indians is a one-way trade, which means Mumbai Indians will have to pay Rs 15 crore annual IPL fee, which was the amount Gujarat Titans spent for his services.

Hardik Pandya will also receive a percentage of an undisclosed transfer fee that is applicable in case of a one-way trade.

The BCCI has no cap on transfer fees, which are subject to consultation between the player and the team he will no longer be a part of. In such a situation, Mumbai Indians will have to pay transfer fees to Gujarat Titans.

According to a report, here the player can ask for a percentage of the transfer fee, which is a lump sum payment. Once the transfer agreement is signed, it is sent to BCCI for final approval and formalities. The transfer fee for Hardik Pandya has not been made public yet.
