PCB appointed 5 veterans as mentors, big news came a day after Pakistan's defeat

Pakistan cricket team is not having a good time. For the last 1 year, the team has been facing disappointment. The condition of the Pakistan cricket team has become very bad. Even the smallest teams are defeating it. Pakistan team lost to Afghanistan in the ODI World Cup and USA in T20 World Cup. Now Bangladesh has defeated it in the Test. This is Pakistan's first defeat against Bangladesh in this format. Just a day after this defeat, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has taken a big decision. It has appointed 5 veterans as mentors.

Regarding the declining performance of the Pakistan cricket team, former cricketers have been claiming for many days that the players cannot compete at the international level. They blamed the structure of Pakistan's domestic cricket for this. They believe that domestic cricket has been completely ruined and needs improvement. At the same time, questions have been raised about not giving a place in the team to players who are performing well in domestic cricket. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has taken this step given this.

Mohsin Naqvi has appointed 5 veterans as mentors for Pakistan's domestic ODI tournament Champions Cup. Misbah-ul-Haq, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Malik, Sarfaraz Ahmed, and Saqlain Mushtaq have been given contracts for 3 years. Mohsin Naqvi has given the responsibility of good training of domestic cricket players to these five veterans of Pakistan.
