Ratan Tata breathed his last on Wednesday night at the age of 86. The entire country is mourning his death. The entire sports world is praying for the peace of his soul and paying tribute to him. He is also remembered for his great works. Ratan Tata is generally known for the development of industry in India. But he also loved cricket a lot. He has made a very important contribution in taking Indian cricket forward. To prepare cricketers, Ratan Tata strengthened them financially and provided every kind of facility. The result was that the country got many cricketers like Yuvraj Singh, who brought the World Cup trophy to India.

These giants won the World Cup.

In a country like India, money and infrastructure become a big problem for many cricketers to progress. Therefore, during Ratan Tata's tenure, many companies of the Tata Group strengthened Indian cricketers financially. They gave them jobs to support them and became a medium to advance their careers. Because of this, the country got many such cricketers who showcased their talent at the international level and also brought glory to India. Apart from this, they also helped the country win the World Cup.

The first and biggest example of this is Mohinder Amarnath, who was a part of the 1983 World Cup-winning Indian team. He was also the vice-captain of this team. Tata Group's Air India supported him. Farooq Engineer played for Tata Motors and Rusi Surti played for Indian Hotels Company Limited.

He also had Tata's support and won the World Cup

Cricketers like Sanjay Manjrekar, Robin Uthappa, and VVS Laxman were also part of the Tata ecosystem. They have played for Air India. Indian Airlines supported Javagal Srinath, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, and Mohammad Kaif and helped them move forward, while Ajit Agarkar was helped by Tata Steel.

Later, Agarkar, Yuvraj, and Harbhajan played an important role in the 2007 T20 World Cup. Yuvraj and Harbhajan performed brilliantly in the 2011 ODI World Cup. Currently, Shardul Thakur, who has played Tests for Team India, has the support of Tata Power and Jayant Yadav has the support of Air India.
