He has played another brilliant innings for Mumbai in first-class cricket. By scoring a century, he has once again presented his claim for a place in Team India.

Sarfaraz Khan completed his century before lunch on the second day of the match. He has scored 103 runs facing 155 balls till lunch, which includes 14 fours. This is Sarfaraz Khan's 15th century in first-class cricket. Mumbai's team, which started with initial setbacks, is now seen moving towards a big score in its first innings, thanks to Sarfaraz's century.
Even before the last match of the Test series against Bangladesh was over in Kanpur, Sarfaraz was released and sent to play the Irani Cup.
