This is the second time in the history of T20 World Cup that 36 runs have been scored in one over. Earlier in the T20 World Cup 2007, Yuvraj Singh had scored 36 runs in one over of England's Stuart Broad. This has happened for the second time.

Nicholas Pooran batted brilliantly in the match against Afghanistan. In this match, the batsman missed a century by just 2 runs. He played a total of 98 innings. With this, the West Indies team was able to score a big score.

T20 World Cup 2024 was played between West Indies and Afghanistan. In this match, Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan won the toss and decided to bowl first.
