Team India beat them badly, now South African player's salary has been cut, so much loss has been incurred

The T20 series between India and South Africa is over and Team India has won this 4 match series 3-1. Team India thrashed South African bowlers on this tour and scored big runs. The same happened in the last match of the series, where Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma hit fours and sixes indiscriminately. The series is over and Team India returned to the country with the trophy but its effect is still visible in South Africa. South African fast bowler Gerald Coetzee not only got beaten up in the last match, but due to one of his mistakes, ICC has also imposed a heavy fine on him.

Penalty for questioning umpire's decision

The last match of the T20 series was played between India and South Africa on Friday, 15 November. In this match played in Johannesburg, Team India batted first and scored 283 runs losing just 1 wicket. During this, South African bowlers were badly beaten and Coetzee was no different. Coetzee conceded 43 runs in just 3 overs, while he did not get any wicket. If this was not enough, he showed his displeasure against a decision of the umpire and this proved costly for him.

Coetzee had protested against the decision of declaring a ball wide and used some wrong words. After the match was over, the umpires complained about this to the match referee and the referee found him guilty of violating the code of conduct. Coetzee also accepted his mistake, after which the referee ordered to deduct 50 percent of his match fee as a fine. According to reports, South African players get 800 dollars i.e. about 67 thousand rupees as fee for a T20 match. That means Coetzee suffered a loss of about 33 thousand rupees. Along with this, a demerit point was also added to his account.

Talking about the match, Sanju Samson and Tilak Verma scored brilliant centuries in this match. This was the second century for both of them in this series and the Indian team made the record of the highest T20 score on South African soil. In response, the South African team collapsed for just 148 runs and lost by 135 runs. In this way, Team India won the third consecutive T20 series under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav. This was also Team India's last series of this year and in this way Team India ended the year with only 2 losses in 25 matches, while also winning the T20 World Cup.
