Shakib Al Hasan said, 'I have expressed my desire to play my last Test in Mirpur to the BCB. I have told this to the BCB, and they agree with me. They are trying to arrange everything so that I can go to Bangladesh. If this does not happen, the match against India in Kanpur will be my last match in Test cricket.' Along with this, Shakib also announced his retirement from T20I and said that he has played his last match in the shortest format of the game in the T20 World Cup 2024.
