We were left in a bad state… Ricky Ponting was forced to leave Perth because of BCCI, he expressed his anger fiercely.

Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting is very angry. The reason for his anger is the schedule of the IPL 2025 auction due to which he will have to leave Perth. Ricky Ponting expressed his displeasure over this in an interview and also indirectly blamed the BCCI for this. Actually, the Perth Test is starting on 22 November, and 2 days after this, i.e. on 24 and 25 November, there is also a mega auction of IPL 2025. Now since Ricky Ponting is the head coach of Punjab Kings, he will have to leave the Perth Test and go to Jeddah, where this auction will be held this time. That is why Ricky Ponting is angry with the schedule of the IPL auction.

Ponting got upset with IPL auction.

Ricky Ponting said in an interview with Asian Age, 'This is a very bad situation for me and Justin Langer. We thought that there would be some time between the Perth Test and the IPL auction but now it is not so. There are many players in Perth whose names will be taken in the IPL auction and in such a situation there will be a different pressure on them too. I don't know why BCCI chose this date, maybe it has something to do with the match.'

When will Ponting leave Perth?

Ricky Ponting said that he will be able to commentate on the first day of the Perth Test. After this he will go to Jeddah. After this I will see when I will come back. Hopefully I will come back by the last day. If this does not happen then we will meet in Adelaide. Let us tell you that Ricky Ponting is the commentator of Channel 7 in the Border-Gavaskar series. Apart from him, Justin Langer is also a part of its commentary team. Langer is the head coach of Lucknow Supergiants. Obviously, leaving the Perth Test midway will affect the pockets of both Ponting and Langer. But both these giants should also see that they also earn a good amount of money from IPL. In such a situation, it is difficult to have laddus in both hands.
