Who is Michael Neser? Born in South Africa, now he broke the back of Team India in Australia

The second unofficial Test between India A and Australia A has started at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Like the first match, once again the condition of the Indian team captained by Rituraj Gaikwad is bad. In the first match held in Mackay, Brendan Doggett destroyed Team India's batting line-up by taking 6 wickets in the first innings. This time this task was done by 34-year-old Michael Neser. Neser single-handedly broke the back of India A's batting by dismissing the top order.

Australia A captain Nathan McSweeney once again won the toss and invited India A to bat. Team India's top-order batsmen who came to bat first in Melbourne were dismissed cheaply by Michael Neser. In the third over itself, the first 4 batsmen returned to the pavilion with a score of just 11 runs. Out of these, 3 wickets were taken by Neser. Neser gave India the first blow in the form of Abhimanyu Easwaran in the very first over. On the very next ball, he took the important wicket of Sai Sudarshan, the batsman who scored a century in the last match.

In the third over, Michael Neser also sent captain Rituraj Gaikwad to the pavilion. In the second over, Scott Boland had taken the wicket of KL Rahul. In this way, India A lost 4 wickets at the score of 11 runs. After this, Neser worsened the condition of India by dismissing Devdutt Padikkal, who was at the crease, at a score of 64 runs. He took 4 wickets for 27 runs in 12 overs.

Michael Neser was born in 1990 in Pretoria, South Africa. At the age of 10, he left his birthplace and shifted to the Gold Coast city of Australia with his family. Gradually, Neser made a place in the Under-19 team of Queensland. After performing well in domestic matches, he got a chance to debut in ODIs for Australia in 2018. At the same time, Neser made his Test debut in 2021.

However, his performance was not good and he was dropped from the team. For Australia, Neser has taken 3 wickets in 4 ODIs and 7 wickets in 2 Test matches. Neser has taken 374 wickets in 107 first-class matches. He has 84 wickets in 70 List A matches and 141 wickets in 123 T20 matches.
