Reliance Jio has increased the prices of all its prepaid, postpaid, and data add-on plans. Along with this, the company has also started changing many other prepaid plans, including the '5G Upgrade' plan. Reliance Jio has launched new 'True Unlimited Upgrade' plans priced at ₹51, ₹101 and ₹151. The special thing about these three plans is that they offer unlimited 5G data. Also, their validity will be the same as the validity of your existing plan.

So then what is the difference between these three plans?

Actually, all three plans also offer some extra 4G data. The ₹51 plan offers 3GB, the ₹101 plan offers 6GB and the ₹151 plan offers 9GB 4G data.

Well, almost anyone can recharge their Jio number with these plans. Reliance Jio has not mentioned anything specifically on the listing page. However, considering all plans with 2GB or more data offer unlimited 5G data, these new plans are targeted at plans with less than 1.5GB daily data. Let us tell you, that Jio used to offer unlimited 5G data with plans starting at Rs 239. Earlier, plans with 1.5GB data per day included unlimited 5G data. However, after the price hike, users will get unlimited 5G data only with those plans that offer 2GB or more data daily.
