What are the reasons for water leaking?

Due to lack of servicing: If the AC is not serviced on time, then this kind of problem can arise. If the filter and drainage line are not clean, water starts accumulating inside and starts flowing out of the AC. This problem occurs especially in split ACs. Water starts coming out of the indoor unit. 

Pipe getting bent: If the drainage pipe gets bent then this kind of problem can occur. In such a case, if water is dripping from the indoor unit then you must check the pipe.

How can it be fixed?

- Split AC should be serviced every 90 days. This cleans the dust and dirt in the filter. The dirt in the drain pipe also gets cleaned.

- If the filters of the AC are damaged, then get it replaced. This can also cause leakage problems.

- If dirt has accumulated in the drainage line, then remove the dirt by pouring water under pressure. 

- If the level of the indoor unit inside does not seem right, then call a technician and get it fixed.

- If a lot of dirt has accumulated in the drainage pipe, then clean it thoroughly by pouring vinegar into it.
