It is worth noting that Musk had earlier also praised an Indian engineer Ashok Eluswami. Ashok was the first member of Tesla's Autopilot team. Musk had said, "Without Ashok and our great team, we would have been looking for a partner like other car companies who could not make it (Autopilot technology) on their own. Ashok has always inspired us to achieve great things, even when those things seemed impossible at that time."
