Tata BS6 Phase II cars: Domestic vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors has launched its vehicles with updated engines to comply with the new emission norms coming into effect from April 1 this year. Along with this, the company said that vehicles with 20 percent ethanol mixture petrol i.e. E20 fuel-friendly engines have also been launched.
From April 1, 2023, the second phase with more stringent provisions of the emission standard BS-6 is to be implemented. Vehicle companies have to adapt their models accordingly. Tata Motors said in a statement on Saturday that going beyond regulatory compliance, its vehicles have now been given new features for better safety, vehicle handling, comfort, and convenience.

On the other hand, Tata Motors has increased the prices of its passenger vehicles with petrol and diesel engines from February 1. Tata Motors said in a statement that the cost has increased due to regulatory changes and an increase in the total cost and the company is bearing a significant burden on itself. He said that this is the reason why he has to increase the price. Overall, all Tata cars have now become costlier by about 1.2 percent.
Tata sales increased last month
Last month, Tata Motors' total sales increased by 6.4 percent to 81,069 units. The company sold a total of 76,210 units in January 2022. Tata Motors said that during this period its total sales in the domestic market increased by 10 percent to 79,681 units. It had sold 72,485 units in the same month a year ago. Domestic sales of its passenger vehicles, including electric vehicles, also increased by 18 percent to 48,289 units. On the other hand, sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market declined by 7 percent to 32,780 units.
