Honda Battery Swap Service: Honda Power Pack Energy India Limited (HED), a subsidiary of Honda Motor Company Limited for battery swap service, has announced the launch of Honda e: Swap service for Activa eH launched by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Private Limited (HMSI). The operations will commence in Bengaluru from February 2025 and in New Delhi and Mumbai from April 2025.

Honda has launched the Activa e in the market on 27 November 2024. With this launch, Honda has taken a big step towards the global approach of carbon neutrality. HED has announced the official launch of battery swap service for HMSI's Activa e. Customers can access the battery swap station by registering a membership on HEID's mobile app along with the purchase of the vehicle.

In addition, HEID will launch battery swap service for two-wheelers in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai from April 2025. In this way, HED will provide battery swap services to a large number of consumers in three major cities of India. In the times to come, HEID will continue to increase the number of stations to meet the growing demand of customers. Under this, 250 battery swap stations will be opened in Bangalore, 150 in Delhi and 100 in Mumbai by March 2026.

Honda launches Activa E and QC 1 electric scooters

The company has introduced the Honda Activa electric scooter in the market. Not only this, the company has also launched the QC1 electric scooter in the market. Both electric scooters are very powerful. Talking about Activa, customers get two Honda Mobile Power packs in it. The main wheel-side motor produces a rated output of 4.2 kW and a maximum output of 6.0 kW. Talking about the QC1, customers have been offered a compact in-wheel motor. Its rated output is 1.2 kW and the maximum output is 1.8 kW. It comes with high frequency LED and a 5-inch LCD instrument panel that shows speed as well as gives other necessary information including battery indicator for better convenience.
