Vistara to merge with Air India today
Actually, today i.e. on Monday, Vistara will be merged with Air India. The retirement age of pilots and other employees of Tata-owned Air India, which was owned by Tata at the beginning of 2022, is 58 years. At the same time, in Vistara, another airline of Tata Group, this limit is 60 years.
Sources said there is growing resentment among a section of Air India pilots as the management has not yet come out with a uniform retirement age for the merged entity. Air India, however, did not comment on the issue.
