Randeep Hooda Reflects on ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’ on Its First Anniversary

Randeep Hooda, known for his dedication to challenging roles, marked the first anniversary of his film Swatantrya Veer Savarkar with a heartfelt social media post. He shared unseen pictures and videos, revealing the hardships he endured during the shoot, including working with a fractured knee.
A Journey of Pain and Passion
The film, based on the life of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, was released on March 22, 2024. Randeep described it as a life-changing experience. In his post, he wrote:
"Three years ago, I embarked on an unforgettable journey with Swatantrya Veer Savarkar—a film that changed me in ways I never imagined. From co-writing, directing, producing, to playing Veer Savarkar, it was a project driven by love, passion, and sacrifice."
He further added that he shot many scenes while enduring severe physical pain from his broken knee. His weight loss transformation and the emotional struggles during filming made the project even more intense.
Fell from a Horse, Still Kept Going
Randeep also shared a behind-the-scenes video where he fell from a horse, fracturing his knee. Despite this, he continued shooting with a bandaged leg and crutches. One of the pictures showed him lying on a stretcher, highlighting the extent of his injuries.
Upcoming Film: 'Jaat' with Sunny Deol
Randeep Hooda will next be seen in 'Jaat', releasing on April 10. He plays the villain Ranatunga in this action-packed film directed by Gopichand Malineni. Fans are excited to see him in yet another intense role alongside Sunny Deol.
