Rajasthan is a place where winter is the best time to visit, but if you have already covered the major destinations like Jaipur, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Udaipur, then it is time to plan a trip to Kishangarh. Located between Jaipur and Ajmer, Kishangarh is famous for its white marble, leading it to be called the "Maldives of Rajasthan" and the "Switzerland of Rajasthan".
What makes Kishangarh special?
Kishangarh is a huge marble dumping yard spread over 300 acres, which gives the feel of a snowy landscape. It claims to be the largest marble market in Asia, where marble cutting and polishing takes place. The Government of Rajasthan has designated an area for marble waste, and over time, this waste has turned into hills of white marble, turning the entire area a pristine white colour.
