According to the information, 30-year-old Reshma, a resident of village Shekhupur Talaiya in Etawah, was married to Surjeet, a resident of Akalpur in Matsena, 12 years ago. Reshma's younger brother Awadhesh alleges that her husband and in-laws used to harass her by taunting her for being from a poor family. The sequence of beatings on small matters had been going on for years. At 9 o'clock on Monday night, Reshma's husband started beating her. Meanwhile, two brothers-in-law also came. All of them tied her legs together. All three of them beat her together. Her husband cut her face at several places and then hit her head on the ground.
Rope marks found
When Reshma's brother reached Firozabad on the information of the villagers, she was in a dying condition. She was unable to speak anything. When she was brought to the trauma center, the doctor declared her dead. There were marks of tying with a rope on her legs. The post-mortem was done on Tuesday evening. In this, a seven to eight inch long roller was found in Reshma's stomach near the large intestine. However, the cause of death has been said to be head injury.

SP City said about the case- I have never heard of such an incident of inserting a rolling pin in the stomach before. Experts' opinion is being sought to find out how it must have entered the body. On the basis of the injuries, the section of murder has been added to the registered case. Reshma also has three children, the police is also questioning them.
