Cancer treatment with lemon and turmeric, a notice of 850 crores... Navjot Singh Sidhu's 'recipe' becomes a problem

Chhattisgarh Civil Society has written a letter to him and sent him a notice of Rs 860 crore advising him to consume lemon water, raw turmeric and cinnamon as an Ayurvedic way to treat cancer.

Society's convenor Dr. Kuldeep Solanki said in this regard that Navjot Singh Sidhu has claimed to cure his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu's fourth-stage cancer in 40 days. The society said that this claim is misleading cancer patients. Due to this, people are losing faith in allopathic medicines.

Navjot Kaur was battling cancer

Navjot Singh Sidhu's wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu has been suffering from cancer since 2022. Navjot Singh Sidhu also says that he was in jail when he came to know about Navjot Kaur's cancer. Navjot was in the fourth stage of cancer. In such a situation, she has defeated cancer. Which is really no less than a miracle.

Sidhu has become quite active in the last few days. He was also seen roaming the streets of Punjab with Navjot. Earlier, he organized a press conference and told how Navjot won the battle against cancer within 40 days. This controversy later became the reason for his trouble.

What did Sidhu say in the statement

Actually, some time ago Navjot Singh Sidhu while addressing the press persons had said that now my wife (Navjot Kaur) is free from cancer.

He said that the doctor had said that there was not even a 5% chance of this happening. He stressed the press conference and said that this press conference is also important so that I can share with you how Navjot came back after winning the battle against cancer in forty days.

Meanwhile, Navjot Singh said that Navjot Kaur's cancer had reached the fourth stage. The doctors had said that there was 3% chance. During that time, I used to study for four to five hours every day. Navjot said that many people ask that you have crores of rupees. But how can a common man get treatment?

He said what the cost of neem leaves is, what is the cost of raw turmeric, what is the cost of lemon and vinegar. These were the four things with which I experienced that cancer can be defeated.

He said that for this, carbohydrates, refined, samosas, jalebi, flour etc. should also be avoided. In this way, according to Sidhu, by changing the lifestyle, cancer has been defeated in 40 days with neem-turmeric and lemon.

Sidhu's statement rejected

Sidhu's statement created a stir in the medical field. A statement signed by 262 former and current cancer specialists of Tata Memorial Hospital said that Sidhu has not presented any evidence to support his claim. It said that research is going on on some of these products, but at present there is no clinical data to recommend their use as an anti-cancer element.

What did the society demand?

Chhattisgarh Civil Society Doctor Solanki said that the society has sent a legal notice demanding to submit the treatment documents and apology within seven days. If this is not done, then a compensation of 100 million dollars i.e. 850 crore rupees will be claimed.

Chhattisgarh Civil Society has written that Navjot Kaur Sidhu does not have any certified documents or medical evidence in support of her husband's claims. She should hold a press conference and clarify this because other cancer patients are getting confused. They are playing with their lives by trusting Sidhu's statements.
