GPS took their lives! Trust in the bridge proved costly, three friends died a painful death
Three friends who were driving a car at high speed relying on GPS fell off a bridge and died. This accident happened because the information about the incomplete bridge was not updated in the GPS.
GPS tracker dodge to death: Traveling based on GPS is easy but it can be very dangerous too. Fast driving based on GPS proved to be very costly for three friends. Deciding the destination by trusting GPS proved to be the last moment of the lives of all three friends. The accident happened in UP. All the friends were going to attend a wedding ceremony but lost their lives before that.
What is the whole matter?
Three friends from Bareilly were going to Dataganj in Badaun district to attend a wedding ceremony. Kaushal Kumar of Mainpuri, Vivek Kumar of Farrukhabad and Amit were in the car. All three drove comfortably with the navigation system installed in the car. At around 10 am on Khalpur-Dataganj road, their car crossed the bridge on the Ramganga river. Only half of the bridge was there. Therefore, the car moving at a high speed fell straight into the river. GPS had indicated the bridge but due to only half of it being there, the car fell straight into the river and all three died due to suffocation before they could be pulled out.
Due to the flood, half of the bridge got submerged in the river
In fact, at the beginning of this year, half of the bridge got submerged in the river. Traffic on this bridge is closed due to the half part not being built yet. But Google's navigation system has not updated the information about the bridge being broken and there is no way, nor has any responsible person taken the trouble of updating it. In such a situation, the navigation system gave wrong information about the bridge and the three friends drove their car on this bridge at high speed, by the time these people understood anything or applied brakes, it was too late. Deputy SP Ashutosh Shivam said that before climbing the bridge, the three did not realize that the front part was damaged and this accident happened.
