In Jalaun, Uttar Pradesh, women attacked the police who had gone to arrest the accused. 20 to 25 women threw stones at the police. They freed the accused from the police and ran away. A group of women chased the police out of the village. Seeing their attitude, the police had to return empty-handed. A case has been registered against the woman who attacked.

According to the police, a few months ago in Tadwa village of Churkhi police station, miscreants set fire to the house of Shivpal Singh, a resident of the village, after a dispute. One accused Veer Bahadur Singh was away from police custody. Police tried to arrest him many times, but the women of his house stood up to defend him. Police were not able to arrest him.

Police said that the Bar Court had issued a non-bailable warrant against Veer Bahadur Singh. The police took him into custody and started bringing him up the stairs when the women of his house and other people surrounded the police. They started misbehaving with the police.

The police registered a case against five named women and 20 to 22 unidentified women for misbehaving in this case.
