But when the group was returning after Ganpati immersion, 30 to 40 people attacked them. Even women and girls were not spared.

As soon as the matter came to light, the police swung into action. At present, three accused have been arrested. Other people involved in the fight are being searched. The incident took place in Khyora village located near Ganga Barrage. According to the information, some people from Kakadev were going in a loader on Sunday night to immerse the Ganesh idol by forming a group. When the group was passing through Khyora village located near Ganga Barrage, a gulal was thrown during that time.

This gulaal went into the eyes of some people walking on the road. This irritated their eyes. They stopped the group and started arguing with them. Somehow the matter was pacified. The group moved ahead. But when the group was returning after Ganpati immersion, 30 to 40 people stopped them near Karbala Chowk. Suddenly they started attacking the group. The attackers also beat up the women and girls present in the group.

Then they ran away from there. The victims registered a case in the police station. The police took immediate action and arrested three attackers. The rest are being searched. The victims alleged that the attackers were in a drunken state. They beat everyone badly. Many people including Kakadev resident Gautam, Rohan, Shiva, Jatin, Sakshi, and Varsha have been injured in this attack.
