Fraudulent marriage and fraud
The bride caught, Ritu Verma, is a resident of Indore in Madhya Pradesh. She married Mahavir Sharma, a resident of Khatiyadi in Bundi, on February 14 last year. The brokers Sapna Chawre and Lakhan were behind this marriage, who lured Mahavir for Rs 2,20,000 for marriage. After marriage, Mahavir was confident that his domestic life would now become happy, but his happiness could not last for long.

Mahavir Sharma was very happy after the marriage, but his happiness vanished on the fifth day of the marriage. On this day, Ritu Verma collected the gold and silver jewellery kept in the house and quietly fled from her in-laws' house. When Mahavir realized this deception, he immediately went to the police station and filed a report. The police registered a case and started searching for the bride and her fellow brokers.

Police success and arrest of criminals
It is a big success for Bundi police that they have arrested the members of this gang. In this action led by Raithal Thanaprabhari Surjeet Singh, looteri dulhan Ritu Verma along with two brokers, Sapna Chavre and Lakhan were also taken into custody. Police is now interrogating them so that other members of this gang and their activities can also be traced.
