After this, the accused was arrested by filing a complaint with the police. The accused has been identified as Rahim Pathan, a resident of Samta Nagar.

He lives in the society next to the victim girls. According to the police, a case of the obscene act with a six-year-old and a four-year-old girl living with their parents in Samta Nagar, Kandivali has come to light. It is alleged that Rahim Pathan, who lives in a nearby society, was molesting these girls for a long time. Not only this, the accused has done such acts with many women as well. The father of the girls told the police in his statement that he tried to protest against the accused's act many times.

The accused threatened them and silenced them. According to the victim's father, he never got the courage to go to the police due to the fear of the accused. This emboldened the accused. By chance, a social worker living in the same society got information about the case through some medium. He immediately informed the police about the case and being present there himself, got the accused's house raided. However, at that time the accused fled from the spot. In such a situation, the police surrounded the area and arrested the accused from a nearby area after about three hours. The police said that the investigation of the case is going on.
