Rajasthan: Bhajan Lal government has now set this goal regarding women.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has pledged to make 3 crore women across the country Lakhpati Didi. In order to realize their resolution, the state government has set a target of making 11 lakh 27 thousand women of the state Lakhpati Didi in a phased manner in the next three years.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said this while addressing the Lakhpati Didi conference organized at Beneshwar Dham in Dungarpur. He said that among these, 2.80 lakh women have already come in the category of Lakhpati Didi.

Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma said that the women of Rajasthan have been a symbol of courage and sacrifice.

Pannadhaya had set an example by sacrificing his son. Kalibai Bhil also sacrificed her life for her guru. He said that on the initiative of the Central Government, the Parliament has passed the Nari Shakti Vandan Act to make provision for reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and Legislative Assemblies. This will ensure adequate participation of women in democracy.
