Rajasthan: This popular scheme of Ashok Gehlot government stopped before Lok Sabha elections, Minister Rajyavardhan gave this information

Before the Lok Sabha elections to be held this year, the Bhajan Lal government of Rajasthan has discontinued a scheme of the previous Ashok Gehlot government. The BJP government of the state has now stopped the free smartphone scheme. This means that right now women will not be able to get the benefit of this scheme in the state.

The previous Ashok Gehlot government had started this scheme. Under this, women were given free smartphones. According to reports, the Bhajanlal government has now stopped this scheme for the time being. This scheme will be investigated by the BJP government. 

According to reports, MLA Indra Meena's question in the Assembly was raised about the free smartphone scheme. On this, Bhajan Lal government minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore gave his response on the assembly website that further decision on this scheme will be taken after examining the benefits of the scheme to women and public interest.
