In the affidavit given by him while filing nomination from Tonk assembly seat, it was written as divorced in front of his wife's name. Everyone was surprised to know this.

It is noteworthy that Sachin Pilot married Sara in January 2004. In the last assembly elections, Sachin Pilot had also mentioned Sara Pilot as his wife in his affidavit. Sachin Pilot is contesting elections from Tonk for the second consecutive time.
