Student sexually abused for 2 years in Mumbai coaching center, 3 brothers did wrong thing

A minor girl was sexually abused for two years in a coaching centre in Mumbai. The victim told her ordeal to a counsellor after which a complaint was lodged with the police. The police have arrested two brothers, while the search for the third one is on.

Mumbai: You will have to go to the coaching centre early, and return late. Three brothers who run a coaching centre sexually abused a minor student for two years. Police have arrested two of the coaching centre operators in South Mumbai. The girl, who had been facing torture for two years, told her story to a counsellor in March. 

After continuous persuasion by the counsellor, the girl and her parents lodged a police complaint on Friday. After this, both the brothers were arrested on Saturday. The police have started looking for the third absconding accused in the case and the eldest brother among the coaching centre operators. The three brothers aged 24, 25 and 27, residents of South Mumbai, used to teach students from 7th to 12th class. There were about 40 girls among those who came to their classes. The victim had joined the coaching centre in 2022. The girl had come to South Mumbai with her mother who had recently got divorced. 

The girl who came to the new school was not talking to anyone since joining the coaching centre. Seeing the change in the daughter, the mother took the help of a counsellor in January 2023. Here the 15-year-old girl told the counsellor about the atrocities that happened to her. Due to fear of society, the girl did not tell this to anyone. The youths have been arrested under POCSO and other sections.
