The drunk husband quarreled, wife, gave him an unforgettable injury on his private part

In Delhi, a man's wife cut off his private part when he came home drunk. After the incident, the woman fled and the victim was admitted to Safdarjung Hospital.

New Delhi. A man living in North Delhi had to pay a heavy price for coming home drunk and fighting with his wife. His wife cut off his private part and fled. Police gave information about the incident on Saturday.

The victim is currently admitted to Delhi's Safdarjung Hospital. His condition is out of danger. According to information received from police officials, the incident took place on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday. Roop Nagar Police Station was the first to receive the information.

The victim is originally from Bihar and works in a paying guest house

The victim's statement was taken on Saturday. He told the police that he was originally from Bihar. He came to Delhi a few months ago with his wife. He works as a helper in a paying guest house in Shakti Nagar.

On the night of the incident, he came home drunk. He fought with his wife. After the fight, his wife left the house and he went to sleep. After some time, the woman returned home and cut off her husband's private part with a pointed and sharp weapon.

People around heard the victim's scream

As soon as the attack took place, the victim started screaming. He tried to catch his wife, but could not do so. Blood was flowing profusely from his body. Meanwhile, the woman ran away after seriously injuring her husband. Hearing the victim's screams, people nearby reached the spot. After this, he was taken to the hospital.  

This is the third marriage of both the husband and wife. The injured was first taken to Hindu Rao Hospital. Later he was brought to Safdarjung Hospital. He is undergoing treatment. The accused woman is still absconding. The police are searching for her. It has been learned that the wife used to remain angry due to her husband's addiction to alcohol. There had been a fight between the two earlier also over drinking alcohol. The woman had warned her husband several times not to consume alcohol, but he did not listen.
