The boyfriend also happily reached the garden at midnight. Both were still being romantic when some youths of the village reached there. They had already got the inkling that the lovers were about to come there. Then what happened, the villagers, without thinking twice, beat up the young man with sticks. The girl was also beaten up. The families of both were informed about this.

The girl's family then insisted on getting their daughter married to the boy. But the boy's family did not approve of this relationship. Therefore, there was a lot of uproar there. The girl's family said that we will not leave your son until he marries our daughter. They kept the boy hostage till the next day. Later, somehow the matter was settled.

The incident is from a village in Tarkulwa police station area. According to the information, a girl living here was having an affair with a boy from the neighbourhood for a long time. They used to meet secretly. On Tuesday night, the girl called her boyfriend to meet her in the garden located on the south side of the village. Then some youths of the village got wind of this. They started following the girl and caught both of them red-handed while celebrating the love affair.

The girl's family insisted on getting her married to the boy and said that they would release the boy only after that. But the boy's family did not agree for the marriage. The boy was kept hostage till the next day. Then both the parties resolved the matter among themselves. In this case, police station in-charge Mrityunjay Rai said that no such case has come to his notice.
