The limit of cruelty was crossed with a nurse in Kanpur. She was raped, sticks were inserted in her private parts, beaten and a case of brutal assault came to light. Police have detained two accused and a detailed investigation is underway.

Kanpur: A nurse was allegedly beaten and raped and her private parts were hit with a stick and chilli powder was poured on her on Thursday in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The brutal incident took place when the 30-year-old victim was going to work on her scooter. She was surrounded by some people near Musamriya Mor adjoining Suhakhar Kheda. The accused dragged her to a deserted area and raped her.

This is why the neighbour had a horrific incident with the woman!

The female nurse working in a health centre in Jalaun was in a relationship with a married man. It was his wife who planned this attack on the nurse. According to a police officer, a detailed medical report is awaited, although no initial evidence of gang rape has been found. The victim says that she was dragged, and beaten and all limits of brutality were crossed.

At the behest of a neighbour, two people dragged him into the forest.

In the FIR, the victim stated that two men named Govind and Ram Milan, at the instigation of her neighbour Jayanti Devi, dragged her to a nearby forest where they gang-raped her. When the nurse screamed for help, farmers heard her cries and rushed to the spot. Seeing them, the attackers fled.

The husband complained against six people.

The nurse's husband told the police that she was going to her duty when several men stopped her and then forcibly dragged her into the nearby bushes. She had left home at 9 am to go to duty. She called me and told me what happened. A man, his nephew and some others beat her up. 4 of them held her down and two men gang-raped her. A stick and chilli powder were also put in her private parts. The police have sent her for medical examination and treatment.

Is the female nurse having an affair with her married neighbour?

In her statement, the nurse revealed that her neighbour Jayanti Devi had an argument with her a day earlier over her alleged affair with her husband. During the quarrel, Jayanti Devi first threatened her and then planned the attack with two of her acquaintances. The complaint states that the accused snatched the victim's mobile phone and money and then raped her. Police have registered an FIR against the accused.

The Superintendent of Police said that no evidence has been found yet, FIR has been registered

Jalaun Superintendent of Police Durgesh Kumar said preliminary investigations revealed that the incident was a result of the victim's alleged "illicit relationship" with a married man. "We have detained two accused named in the case and are questioning them. So far, we have not found evidence of gangrape and attack on private parts with chilli powder as mentioned in the complaint," he said. The officer said a detailed medical report is awaited but a case has been registered under gangrape.
