Jhansi. Sensational revelations are being made about the murder of former minister's daughter-in-law Sangeeta on Thursday night in the Kotwali police station area of Jhansi. Investigation revealed that Sangeeta drank alcohol with her husband and boyfriend. All three were in the same room. During this time, her boyfriend Rohit Valmiki killed her. When the daughter reached there after hearing her mother's screams, he closed the door. The daughter told the tenant living in the house about the fight. The tenant immediately informed the police. When the police reached, Sangeeta's body was found on the bed. The boyfriend was sleeping next to her, while her husband Ravindra Ahirwar was lying drunk on the sofa. The police arrested both of them. A video before the murder has also surfaced. In the video, Rohit is seen holding a glass of alcohol.
Neighbors say that Sangeeta and her husband Ravindra were fond of alcohol. They used to drink alcohol every day. Neighbors even say that Sangeeta was ready to sell household utensils for alcohol. On the day of the murder, Rohit brought alcohol to Sangeeta's house with his friends. He made the couple drink alcohol. After this, his friends left from there. Rohit stayed there. He went to the couple's room and killed Sangeeta at night. Sangeeta's postmortem report has also come out. 9 injuries have been found on her body. On the complaint of the brother-in-law, the police have arrested the woman's boyfriend Rohit Balmiki and husband Ravindra Ahirwar. The reason for the murder has not been revealed yet.
Accused Ravindra Ahirwar lived with his wife Sangeeta and 3 children in the locality outside Lakshmi Gate of Kotwali. Sangeeta and Ravindra were married in 2011. He used to do decoration work but after marriage Ravindra started drinking alcohol. Sangeeta also started supporting her husband and became addicted to alcohol. Both of them used to start drinking as soon as the evening fell. Ravindra's parents left their home and started living in the village.
The 12 year old daughter of the deceased Sangeeta told that Rohit uncle made my mother and father drink alcohol. At night Rohit uncle took mother and father to the bedroom and locked it from inside. After a while my mother pleaded for help. When I reached there Rohit uncle did not let me go inside the room and closed the door. I told the tenant aunty. The police came and got the gate opened. My mother's body was found on the bed. Rohit was lying next to her. Father was sleeping on the sofa. 4 bottles of alcohol were found inside the room. Rohit uncle used to come to our house.
Sangeeta's mother-in-law Girja Devi said, 'I have two sons. I used to live with my family in Jhansi. My husband is a retired fourth class employee from Bundelkhand University. Elder daughter-in-law Sangeeta used to fight with her sister-in-law after drinking alcohol. So I came to village Don with younger son. Daughter-in-law Sangeeta used to come every month to take 5 thousand rupees from the pension that my husband gets. She used to go on picnics with Rohit. My daughter-in-law had gone bad. Elder son is also an alcoholic. After drinking intoxicated, he was not even aware of what his wife was doing.
