Bengaluru. A woman died under mysterious circumstances inside her house in the Honga Sandra area. Police who reached the spot after getting the information have suspected the elder son of the murder. The deceased woman has been identified as Jayamma, who was a housewife and has been living separately from her husband for the last 20 years. Jayamma lived with her younger son, who was on duty in Anekal at the time of the incident. After getting the information, he reached home in a distraught state.
A friend had come to meet the woman when her mobile was not answered
The incident came to light when one of Jayamma's friends tried to contact her on her mobile but when he did not get any response, he got worried and went to Jayamma's house. There, with the help of the house owner, the house was entered using the spare key, where Jayamma was found dead. According to the police, Jayamma had injury marks on her head, which raises suspicion that she was strangulated to death.
The elder son was having a dispute with the younger one
Police say that Jayamma's elder son had a conflicting relationship with the younger son, which was the cause of tension in the house. At present, the police have registered a case and started a detailed investigation. The post-mortem report is awaited to reveal the exact cause of death.
