They were about to light the pyre when they found out the truth, the family members stopped the last rites and ran away

A shocking incident happened during the preparations for the funeral in Firozabad when the family got to know that the deceased was insured and got the body removed from the pyre and got the post-mortem done. This incident raises questions on the importance of relationships in front of money.

Firozabad News. Money has no respect for anyone, this thing is always proved. If the body taken to the crematorium and ready for last rites is suddenly picked up and taken to the hospital, then what will be the value of money! A similar incident happened in Firozabad which surprised everyone. Even a funeral has no value in front of money. This thing is often proved. After taking the body to the cemetery and making all the preparations for the last rites, when suddenly the body was picked up and taken to the hospital, people were surprised. They were about to light the pyre when the family came to know a truth. Then what happened, the body was immediately taken to the hospital and post mortem was done. Actually, the deceased had taken insurance. When the family came to know that there was insurance in his name, they came forward to get the post mortem done. 

This incident is from Dammamal of Firozabad. A 55-year-old man living here died due to electric shock in his house. The name of the deceased was Harendra. This incident happened while doing electrical work in the house. The family members were crying bitterly after losing Harendra. After all the relatives arrived, preparations for the last rites were made. All the preparations were completed at the crematorium. Only lighting the pyre was left. Then the family members remembered that Harendra had taken insurance. 

Then what happened was that Harendra's body lying on the pyre was brought down and the police was informed and postmortem was done. After the report came, the body was brought back to the crematorium and the last rites were performed according to Hindu customs. If Harendra's last rites had been performed like this, then the family would not have received the insurance money. The postmortem report is mandatory to receive the insurance money. Knowing this, the family took the body down from the pyre and got the postmortem done. 

What documents are required to get the insurance money?: After the death of a person, some documents are mandatory to get the insurance money in his name.

Death Certificate: A death certificate must be provided. It records the time, place and cause of the person's death. Insurance companies also ask for proof of identity of the person claiming the money. They also check whether the person nominated by the deceased is applying or not.  

Insurance policy papers: The basic terms of the insurance policy affect the amount to be paid. Therefore, the person claiming the insurance has to provide the insurance policy papers. 

Medical Certificate:  This depends on the requirements of the insurance company. 

Post-mortem report: This is required in cases of unnatural death. Insurance rules and the amount to be paid may vary depending on the manner of death. 

Hospital papers: If a person dies due to any illness then hospital papers are necessary.  

Employment certificate: This certificate is necessary in case of untimely death. Different insurance companies define untimely death differently. Therefore, one should contact the concerned insurance company and get information about this. This document will have to be provided if required.
