After the Saurabh Singh murder case in Meerut, another shocking incident has surfaced in Auraiya, where a newlywed groom, Dilip Kumar, was murdered just 14 days after his wedding. The case bears striking similarities to the Meerut case, as it is alleged that the bride, Pragati, plotted her husband's murder with the help of contract killers. Initially, Pragati told the police that she was unhappy with the marriage, claiming that she was forced into it. However, her family's latest statement has completely changed the narrative.

Bride’s Family Claims Marriage Was Not Forced

Pragati’s family has now denied her claims, stating that she had agreed to the marriage on her own. They said,
"If Pragati did not want to get married, why would we have forced her? The wedding took place with her full consent on March 5."

In contrast, Pragati earlier claimed that her family discovered her relationship with her boyfriend Bablu and, against her will, married her off to her sister’s brother-in-law, Dilip. However, her family refutes this, saying they had no knowledge of any love affair and that Pragati is lying.

The Murder Conspiracy: 15 Days of Planning

Investigations have revealed that Pragati and her boyfriend Bablu Yadav planned the murder soon after her wedding. The duo allegedly hired contract killers, led by the notorious criminal Ramji Nagar, to eliminate Dilip.

  • The murder deal was finalized for ₹2 lakh

  • ₹1 lakh was given in advance

  • The remaining amount was to be paid after the murder

The police have arrested Pragati, her lover Bablu, and the contract killer Ramji Nagar. Following their arrest, a tense silence has gripped their village, Siyapur. Bablu’s house is in the same neighborhood as Pragati’s maternal home, further deepening the shocking nature of the case.

Family and Villagers Demand Harsh Punishment

Pragati’s Brother Speaks Out

Pragati’s brother, Alok Yadav, has stated:
"Our family had no idea about Pragati’s relationship with Bablu. Now that this crime has been committed, we demand the strictest punishment for both Pragati and Bablu."

Bablu’s Sister’s Reaction

Even Bablu Yadav’s sister distanced herself from the crime, saying:
"We were unaware of my brother’s love affair. If he has been involved in this heinous act, he should face the harshest punishment."

Public Outrage and Legal Action

Villagers have strongly condemned the brutality of the crime and demanded exemplary punishment for all those involved. The police are continuing their investigation to uncover more details surrounding the murder plot.

This case has reignited debates on honor, love affairs, and contract killings in rural India, where personal choices often clash with societal and familial expectations. As the investigation progresses, more shocking revelations are expected.
